Back to the 80’s wedding – the concept

Greg & Ioana’s wedding was definitely one of those you’ll never forget and you’ll never repeat. It was crazy fun. Colorful, happy and very, very 80s.

We started with asking all the guests to come with their unique costume, giving video dress code hints and then keeping all the guests entertained and hooked with a series of previews for what their wedding should be about.

The decor was white and simple, just to make it easy on the eye, because the real colorful element were the guests themselves.

The wedding had incorporated a fun themed photobooth, a costume contest with 80s prizes and a battle of video presentations between the groom’s best friends and himself.

Greg chose the kid’s outfit, Marty, from Back to the future and Ioana chose the sexy cartoon character of Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, two iconic 80’s movies.

All the staff were given branded tshirts, with the logo of the wedding and all the stationery were also branded with the logo. The tables were named after matching themes movies also and the DJ played the best of the 80’s songs.
